TOUR ITINERARY DETAIL
Around 03:30 – 04:00 am, our team will pick you up from your Istanbul Hotel(which should be centrally located in the Sultanahmet or Taksim regions), and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. When you arrive to the airport, you make your self-check-in with the flight information provided to you after you booked this tour and take your flight to Cappadocia. Upon landing at Cappadocia, our team will welcome you at the exit gate of the domestic terminal. Then, there will be approx. an hour transfer to Cappadocia, meet your group and start this lifetime experience.
Important Note: There are 2 types of Cappadocia Day Tours; the one visiting the Northern Cappadocia and the other visiting the Southern Cappadocia. Here you may see both schedules and you may choose one of those to join.
Goreme Panorama has a stunning view of Goreme Village with the information of the region provided by your guide. Land of fairy chimneys and time for taking memorable photos. Open Air Museum which is the biggest monastery complex in the region. Then, visit Ortahisar Village; a typical village with its castle and cave food storage. Fairy Chimney Valley has mushroom-looks formed rocks and very unique fairy chimney forms. Then, we pass through the Imagination Valley or Devrent Valley another name where you have the impression that animals are petrified in the rocks with naturally formed over time. Midday, lunch break in a local restaurant.
Uchisar Castle which is the biggest fairy chimney formation used as a fortress by many civilizations. Hiking about 4 km in Red Valley and passing through Rose Valley by exploring rock churches that saved early Christians from Roman prosecution and time for taking your memorable photos. Arriving at Cavusin Village is an ancient settlement of the region and may explore its cave residences. Midday, lunch break in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Kaymaklı/Derinkuyu Underground City; the widest of the Cappadocia, it was used by refugees or people running away from catastrophes. Pigeon Valley offers a nice view over Uchisar Castle and it has pigeons still living in pigeon houses. The last visit to Three Beauties Valley which is famous for its vine factories and stunning panoramic view.
At the end of the tour, according to your flight time, we will transfer you to the airport for your return flight to Istanbul. Upon landing in Istanbul, our team will welcome you at the exit gate of the Airport (meeting details will be specified). Then, approx. 1-hour transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
