The distance from Istanbul to Pamukkale is approx. 600 km. So, the easiest way to reach to Pamukkale is taking a flight! It would be slightly more expensive, however, it is way more comfortable and time-saving in comparison to busses.
Flights from Istanbul to Pamukkale
There are 2 airlines that have flights to Pamukkale from Istanbul; Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines. Turkish Airlines have more flights in comparison to Pegasus Airlines. The flight prices around 150 to 250 Turkish Lira per person. And, keep in your mind that your final destination should be Denizli Çardak Airport (DNZ) while searching for flights.
Denizli Airport is about 40km away from Pamukkale Travertines. And, there are shuttle services, private transfers, and taxis to reach Pamukkale. So, transportation is not a serious problem from Denizli Airport to Pamukkale!
Busses from Istanbul to Pamukkale!
If you are not pressed for time and looking for a more affordable option, this could be a perfect choice. There are regular buses departing from Istanbul every hour, with the most popular and reliable bus companies being Pamukkale Turizm, Metro Turizm, and Nilufer Seyahat.

The price of a single bus ticket is around 150 to 175 Turkish Lira. And, the duration from Istanbul to Denizli Bus Station is approx. 12 hours! This is not a recommended way for those who are not used to have long bus journeys although the busses in Turkey are very comfortable!
